- Log & Technical Data: Basic request metadata, such as browser type, device type, approximate coarse location (derived from IP address), and system performance logs.
- Aggregated Usage Telemetry: We collect daily aggregate page view metrics to optimize system performance. Raw telemetry logs are automatically pruned after a 90-day retention window.

- Database & Hosting: Secure cloud database hosting for user accounts and watchlist records.
- Media Metadata APIs (The Movie Database – TMDB): We fetch show titles, posters, and cast information from TMDB. TMDB does not receive your user profile data when you browse metadata.
- Email & Newsletter Delivery: If you opt into newsletter communications, your email is safely processed via our transactional email provider.
5. Cookies & Local Storage
SeriStream uses essential browser storage mechanisms (Local Storage and Session Cookies) solely to:
- Keep you securely logged into your account.
- Store user settings (such as dark mode preferences or local watchlist filters).

- Account Data: We retain your watchlist, account details, and ratings for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, your data is permanently removed from our active databases.
- System Logs & Telemetry: Raw page-view logs and technical diagnostic records are deleted automatically after 90 days.
